So naturally, I read this out of order! Granted, it didn't change my reading experience with any of the books! It's awesome to get to know Dawson before the DoD gets their hands on him. He's funny, easy-going... practically every adjective you wouldn't use to describe Daemon. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Daemon... but Dawson is so sweet, and it only makes you angry when you read the books he's featured in and he's not the same. Bethany is an absolute sweetheart. She's witty, sweet-tempered and doesn't take anyone's crap... no matter how intimidated they made her. Jennifer L. Armentrout is an absolute genius... and I'm obsessed with this series!
