I was hoping Nakos would get his own story, and I'm extremely happy he did! The emotional rollercoaster continues as we get to know Nakos and Amy. While it hurt to watch Nakos and his unrequited feelings in the first book, in walked Amy and you just knew this story was going to rip you to shreds. While I enjoy a friend-to-lovers story, they can be tricky. This was well executed by Kelly Moran. What I appreciated was the acknowledgement of Nakos's feelings for Olivia, while re-examining his feelings for Amy. I was hoping for Amy to be a little stronger (who doesn't live a strong heroine?!), but I completely understand. Nakos and Amy deserved happiness, and with "Benediction"that's exactly what they got. In my review of "Redemption", I called it a 'beautiful symphony of emotions that you never want to end '. Well, Ms. Moran is one hell of a conductor.
